Shaikh Atik Badshah, MBBS, MS, PhD is the Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). His academic foundation includes Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Hong Kong Baptist University, Master of Surgery in Orthopedic Surgery and a Bachelor’s in Clinical Medicine from Southern Medical University. And he has completed his postdoctoral fellowship from Northwestern Polytechnical University. He further brings extensive clinical experience from roles at SUSTech Hospital in Shenzhen, including as a Doctor in Joint Surgery and Medical Specialist in International Medical Administration. He has authored over 15 high-impact publications in areas such as translational medicine in bone & joint diseases and bone tumors, alongside co-inventing patented medical technologies. His interdisciplinary research aligns with MUST’s focus on innovation, particularly in sports injury prevention, regenerative medicine, and precision oncology. Multilingual and culturally adept, he is dedicated in fostering multicultural academic environments and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
