目前,黃博士專注於尋找用於治療癌症、神經退行性疾病、免疫調節,並具有潛在臨床應用價值的天然化合物,同時探究其作用的分子機理。同時,他亦探索醫學人工智能的臨床應用,包括建立人類全週期生物鐘模型,以加深對晝夜節律對疾病與治療影響的理解,並研發用於臨床決策支援的AI工具。透過結合天然產物研究與計算及AI方法,加速從分子水平到臨床落地的轉化。其近期成果發表於Nat. Med., Trends Mol. Med., J. Transl. Med., Chin. Med. J., Pharmacol. Res., Biomark. Res., Food Chem.:X and Int. J. Biol. Macromol.等期刊上。此外,他被任命為澳門特區政府委任為生命科學道德委員會成員,亦曾任人才發展委員會「大健康」產業專責小組成員。
