黄耀南博士自2019年7月起担任澳门科技大学医学院助理教授。他于2006年从北京师范大学获得生物学学士学位。随后于2007年在谢菲尔德大学分子医学(遗传学)领域获得硕士学位,并以第一名的成绩毕业。 2012年,他在谢菲尔德大学以毕业论文毋须作任何修改的成绩完成答辩并获得医学博士学位。在加入澳门科技大学之前,黄博士曾在谢菲尔德大学和牛津大学担任博士后研究员。期间,他运用蛋白质生物化学、结构生物学、细胞生物学和蛋白质组学等先进技术,成功发现了病毒和人体中新的DNA复制和修复因子。这些研究成果已发表在Nucleic Acid Res., eLife, Sci. Rep.等知名期刊上。

目前,黄博士专注于寻找用于治疗癌症、神经退行性疾病、免疫调节,并具有潜在临床应用价值的天然化合物,同时探究其作用的分子机理。他最近的研究成果已发表在Pharmacol. Res., Food Chem.:X and Int. J. Biol. Macromol.等期刊上。

最近,他被澳门特区政府委任为人才发展委员会「大健康」产业专责小组成员。
