我在愛丁堡大學獲得了生理學博士學位,研究方向為鐵超載性心肌病變的分子決定因素。目前,我是澳門科技大學醫學院的副教授兼助理院長,同時擔任澳門人工智慧醫學研究院的助理主任,並在英國鄧迪大學擔任榮譽講師。

我的實驗室研究膜受體(離子通道和G蛋白偶聯受體)在健康與疾病中的作用。我們結合膜片鉗電生理方法與分子、生化和遺傳技術,研究以下幾個主要領域:分子藥理學、癌症生物學、神經科學和傳染病。

我還負責本科生和研究生的生理學、神經科學和微生物學教學。我曾共同撰寫多篇發表在《自然醫學》和《美國國家科學院院刊》等著名期刊的論文。此外,我還擔任多家知名期刊的編輯和審稿人,為科學界做出貢獻。
