Apart from our Macao SAR healthcare training and important education, it has been six-and-a-half years since the National Healthcare and Family Planning Commission began strengthening existing programs. They have done this to ensure that Macau’s healthcare infrastructure can meet the current needs and the challenges the SAR is facing.” Dr. Chan continued, “These collaborations with top notch Chinese institutions and the support of the Central Government and National Healthcare and Family Planning Commission are bringing medical skills training to new heights, giving our doctors vital techniques and energy to be more effective. We are honored and humbled to be providing the Central Government leadership with insights and ideas, and communicating expectations. This is of crucial importance in the ongoing strategic direction in medical skills training and medical education in the Macao SAR.”
