Lawrence T Lam is a qualified Epidemiologist and Biostatistician appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and a registered Statistician with the Statistical Society Australia. He is the Principal Investigator of many grant-funded projects in Child and Adolescent Health, particularly Mental Health and other related areas. He has also been a research consultant for many large-scale clinical trials in medical and health research. With a psychology background, he is passionate about promoting physical and mental health across the life span through evidence-based strategies and with his skills in epidemiology and statistics. His work has been recognised as among the 100,000 most cited scientists (top 2%) in 2020, 2021, 2022 by the Standford University study group. As an active researcher in both clinical and community settings and a component educator at the tertiary level, Lawrence is keen and devoted to adapting digital technologies in research, translation into clinical practices, and learning and teaching.
