From August 22 to 25, 2024, the 10th National College Students’ Basic Medical Innovation Research and Experiment Design Forum Final was successfully held in Guangzhou. This forum, organized by the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Consortium, is one of the highest-level and most influential life sciences competitions in the field of basic medical sciences in China. The competition has been included in the National College Students Competition Analysis Report and is recognized by the Ministry of Education as a national-level competition for medical students' innovation and entrepreneurship.
As the only university from Macau to participate in this prestigious event, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) sent a total of six teams. In a highly competitive environment, the university’s entries from the Faculty of Medicine, the School of Pharmacy, and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine won one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals in the “Belt and Road” International Track.
